Favorite Things in February
- Amalia Rodrigues. the greatest fado singer I've ever heard. She has a song called "I don't confess it, even to the walls," and every time I hear it I have to stop whatever I'm doing. Her voice sounds like a weeping willow.
- Salty Plum Vodka Drink. I have had many virgin salty-plum drinks, but these are sublime.
- Finger-less gloves. Not the biker-kind that is trendy. The hand-knit variety, preferably with a mitten option. Warm and convenient.
- Ferraby Lionheart's video. It made me feel very warm inside, as I have a certain soft-spot for grandmothers. See for yourself!

i actually invested my money in fingerless gloves and they really are a blessing. it's hard to hold coffee cups with mittens and gloves with fingers... and it's nice to have the choice sometimes.
